Ways to Woo Back Your Girlfriend – When the Relationship Goes SOUR
You cannot always expect a relationship to be smooth sailing. There are always going to be some bumps in the road and some curves coming up ahead that you cannot see until they are there. Unless you don’t mind of your relationship crashes, then you will want to make sure that you know what to do to handle these sour moments. If you are feeling like things are on the edge with your girlfriend, then keep reading.
Here’s what you NEED to do:
1. You have to become aware of the possible issues.
For some reason, a lot of guys will like to just look the other way when it seems like there are issues within their relationship. Or, they want to cast the blame on their girlfriend, and not deal with the real problems. If you are stubborn and thick headed about this, then don’t expect that thick skull to give you any relief when you see your girlfriend leaving you.
2. You have to understand female psychology.
No, it is NOT the same as a guys. Of course, you probably already know that to some extent. However, a lot of men seem to have the false belief that they can never understand the female psychology of relationships, and that is not really true. You are not studying for an exam here, just trying to get to know what makes a woman tick.
3. You have to be able to utilize proven methods to attract her back and make her feel the ROMANCE again.
If you want to get a second shot at things, or you want to bring back the love before she decides to leave, then you have to go with methods that have been proven to provide this result. Of course, you can keep on being stubborn about it, but that does not really do any good when you are left with an empty house, now does it?

Supportive Relationships and Heart Failure $96.59 Over the past several decades, an increase in mortality rates due to congestive heart failure has been observed. Although previous research highlights the importance of both supportive relationships and depressive symptoms in predicting a variety of physical health outcomes in this population, less is understood about how these variables relate to one another. Therefore, the purpose of this book is to provide an examination of this question. The Psychology of Associative Learning $152.95 It is hard to think of any significant aspect of our lives that is not influenced by what we have learned in the past. Of fundamental importance is our ability to learn the ways in which events are related to one another, called associative learning. This book provides a fresh look at associative learning theory and reviews extensively the advances made over the past twenty years. The Psychology of Associative Learning begins by establishing that the human associative learning system is rational in the sense that it accurately represents event relationships. David Shanks goes on to consider the informational basis of learning, in terms of the memorization of instances, and discusses at length the application of connectionist models to human learning. The book concludes with an evaluation of the role of rule induction in associative learning. The Economic Psychology of Trust $101.96 As firms seek to use the knowledge held in their farflung enterprises, their size and diversity the very qualities that offer so much promise become hindrances. This research explores how trust can shift the psychological levers that drive knowledgesharing in powerful ways. Tam Thao Pham presents a model based on an economic psychology extending beyond the narrowly rational. She posits the use of economic reasoning in sharing, i.e. daily tradeoffs that are weighed and made to optimize the scarce resource of time, which also includes psycho sociological factors such as the human desire to build relationships, power of social status, and need for coherent selfidentity. She tracks outgoing streams from 35 consultants and asks questions about the implicit relationships between sender and recipient. The results suggest answers to questions like: Is there a virtuous cycle of trust and knowledgesharing? How important is physical proximity? What is different in technologyenabled environments? What is the difference between sharing up versus down ? And why cant we look at proactive sharing and passive acquiescing in the same way? The Liar in Your Life: The Way to Truthful Relationships $4.99 In The Liar in Your Life, psychology professor Robert Feldman, one of the world’s leading authorities on deception, draws on his immense body of knowledge to give fresh insights into how and why we lie, how our culture has become increasingly tolerant of deception, the cost it exacts on us, and what to do about it. His work is at once surprising and sobering, full of corrections for common myths and explanations of pervasive oversimplifications. Feldman examines marital infidelity, little white lies, career-driven resumé lies, and how we teach children to lie. Along the way, he reveals – despite our beliefs to the contrary – how it is nearly impossible to spot a liar (studies have shown no relationship between nervousness, lack of eye contact, or a trembling voice, and acts of deception). He also provides startling evidence of just how integral lying is to our culture; indeed, his research shows that two people, meeting for the first time, will lie to each other an average of three times in the first ten minutes of a conversation. Feldman uses this discussion of deception to explore ways we can cope with infidelity, betrayal, and mistrust, in our friends and family. He also describes the lies we tell ourselves: Sometimes, the liar in your life is the person you see in the mirror. With incisive clarity and wry wit, Feldman has written a truthful book for anyone who whose life has been touched by deception. |

Families as Relationships $123.7 The field of family studies has recently seen the development of a more specialized focus on the character of particular relationships. The nature of these relationships may take many forms but typically involves individuals who view themselves as a unit with a longterm commitment to continue their relationship. Traditionally, at least in western societies, families are defined in terms of two parents living together with responsibility for rearing their children. However, these socalled nuclear families are becoming a rarer phenomenon. Singleparent families, childless couples, lesbian or gay male couples are also all represented in the broad mix of relations referred to as families. Each of the chapters in this book deals with a primary relationship issue. These include: issues of early marriage how young relationships become enduring relationships parent and child relations conflict between partners the interface between work and family life marital quality and maintenance divorce and its impact on the family aging and older familiesThis volume provides a useful reference for professionals whose research and/or clinical practice focuses on family relationship issues. This book is also intended for advanced students in the areas of sociology, close relationships and family sciences. Families as Relationships is one of a series of paperbacks dedicated to the study and application of processes by which individuals relate to each other in social and family settings. Invertebrate Relationships $89.22 This book succeeds in bringing together the previously scattered literature on invertebrate phylogeny, forming a unique introduction to this fascinating and controversial subject. Phylogenetic study is an important cornerstone of biology, for the evolutionary relationships between groups of animals bear heavily upon the analysis of their physiology, behavior and ecology. Until now, there have been few books which analyse the diversity of animal life in terms of its origins and the relationships between different groups. After reviewing the current state of the subject, the author discusses the various sources of evidence which bear upon the question of how living animals are related to each other. Then, these lines of evidence are applied to particular groups of invertebrates. The prevalence of convergent evolution is a strong theme, as it becomes clear that many features, from details of cell chemistry and structure to overall body plan and life history, have been invented repeatedly and independently under similar selection pressures. Pat Willmer has drawn upon her experience teaching invertebrate zoology to undergraduates at Cambridge and Oxford to produce a stimulating, meaningful account of the relationships between invertebrate phyla and of the phylogenetic pattern of the animal kingdom. After two decades of studying problems like BMW’s GPS system, Microsoft’s Clippy (the most reviled animated character of all time), and online evaluations that lead people to lie to their laptops, Nass has developed a powerful theory: Our brains can’t fundamentally distinguish between interacting with people and interacting with devices. We will “protect” a computer’s feelings, feel flattered by a brown-nosing piece of software, and even do favors for technology that has been “nice” to us. All without even realizing it. In his research at Stanford, Nass has leveraged our fundamentally social relationship with computers to develop and test a series of essential rules for effective human relationships. He has found that the most powerful strategies for working with people aren’t really that complicated, and can be learned from watching what succeeds and fails in technology interfaces. In other words, if a computer can make friends, build teams, and calm powerful emotions, so can any of us. Nass’s studies reveal many surprising conclusions, such as: Mixing criticism into praise – a popular tactic for managers – is a destructive method of evaluation. Opposites don’t attract – except when one gradually changes to become more like other. Flattery works – even when the recipient knows it’s fake. Team-building exercises don’t build teams – but the right T-shirt can. Misery loves company – but only if the company is miserable, too. Nass’s discoveries push the boundaries of both psychology and technology and provide nothing less than a new blueprint for successful human relationships. |
